What the press is saying:

Libnet Nova M has been losing $100,000 a month, and files for liquidation.
Principal Anita Drobny says the business stress is what put her husband Sheldon in the hospital with a breakdown. T-R-I reported his hospitalization yesterday, as part of the Randi Rhodes saga. While today's Wall Street Journal adds what looks like the missing link in the Randi Rhodes-Nova M breakup story - that Randi believed her Nova M contract would cover some legal costs, but found out it didn't. Anita Drobny isn't discussing such affairs, but Nova M is filing for bankruptcy protection. The next new liberal-talk syndicator is On Second Thought Radio Network, which will take on former Nova M personality Mike Malloy. On Second Thought is a project of Dr. Mike Newcomb, who also worked with Nova M at one point.

and here's the press release from THEM:

It is with great excitement and optimism that I announce today the formation of a new progressive talk radio network. The On Second Thought Radio Network will continue to build upon the foundation laid by our predecessors and will work dilligently to fulfill our fiduciary responsibilities to all investors and principals involved. Equally important, we will, with the millions of faithful progressive listeners across the country, uphold our vision to promote freedom, social justice, economic justice and peace worldwide.

We look forward to adding more talent and innovative products to our network in the near future.

One thing we can assure you is that we will always value the fundamental principle of We the People proclaimed by our Founding Fathers. The On Second Thought Radio Network will work tirelessly to hear the voices and honor the commitments of our listeners, affiliates, supporters and advertisers alike. We welcome any and all suggestions as we go through this transition period. Please feel free to check out our web site, www.onsecondthought.net where we will keep you up to date on the latest and greatest that we hope to offer to you!

Respectfully,

Mike Newcomb, CEO
On Second Thought Radio Network

Continuing on the network will be Americas original truth-seeker Mike Malloy. The Mike Malloy Show will continue to broadcast live Monday through Friday, from 9PM - Midnight (EST).

Hey, Truthseekers, Just a quick note from your humble and obedient (ha-ha) servant. I am pleased to let you know the Malloy program continues. Same time, same station, same Web-cast, same satellite availability. Nothing changes while everything does, as my tai chi instructor says. Anyway, we're here and we'll continue with the most intense, factual, hell-raising liberal talk in the nation. Keep it lit.
- Mike Malloy

Drama, tragedy, and a mess. So now you know, Malloy stays on green 960, he's going to be OK.

Randi? I have no clue.

We're going to possibly have a guest fill-in show next week. Working out the details today and I'll let you know ASAP if/when it happens. Your feedback is going to be very very important.

I have an idea. Let's see what happens.

Peace.
